Windward Passage Resort, Ft Myers Beach, Fl - Stayed May 2012

Location, Location, Location!!! This place has it all. Everything is close by and the resort people are friendly and very helpful. The free bikes at the resort were fun. You are right on the beach. The one bedrooms would be a tight sweeze for 4 people but there were only 2 of us so we were very confortable. We had a unit facing the gulf # 106 and were very happy. The beach is not crazily packed, and the sand bar in front of the resort makes for very calm waters....great for families. The resort has a heated pool, but also provides beach chairs. Umbrellas can be rented for the week. Sand toys and various floating toys are also available, along with gas grills, tennis courts, and some planned activities. Free washer and dryer usage. Lots of water sports on the beach. We went parasailing and took an airboat ride to see the aligators. We would definately go back again. We were very happy with our trade to Windward Passage Resort.
