For all to know,

Our family vacationed at the Discovery Beach Resort (DBR) in Cocoa Beach, Florida in April of 2011 for the second year in a row. Our first experience was in April of 2010. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to try for an exchange again for a stay at DBR.

Lucky us!

From the moment we entered the property we were greeted by friendly staff, from the grounds personnel, maintenance and activities director. The folks at the front desk could not be more pleasant and the check-in streamline. It was comforting to see the same folks as the year prior, like we never left.

Throughout the day the DBR staff would greet us (and our children) with a 'Hello', 'Enjoying your stay?', 'Is there anything we can do for you?' or 'Are you finding everything okay?'. In my children's lingo, 'OMG' this place is the greatest. My wife and I could not agree with them more.

The resort and dwelling units are clean, comfortable and well maintained. A wonderful view of the Atlantic Ocean is had by all from the full eastward facing balconies. Direct walking access to the beach over the dune boardwalk is soooooo convenient. We enjoyed our sunrise and evening walks along the beach, very therapeutic.

The surrounding town and county is easily learned and there is to much to see and do in a single week.

We look forward to future stays with our new acquaintances whom we would not mind calling friends at DBR. Our warmest regards to all of them.
